What SafarSaath is
SafarSaath connects drivers who are already travelling between Karachi and Hyderabad with passengers going the same way, so they can share the trip and its fuel cost. SafarSaath does not provide transport, does not employ drivers and is not a taxi service.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older and verified with a valid CNIC or NICOP.
- One account per person. Your details must be true and your own.
Cost sharing, not a fare
- The cost per seat is a share of the trip's fuel cost, not a profit. Each route has a maximum.
- Passengers pay their share to the driver directly. SafarSaath takes no commission.
Drivers
- You confirm that you hold a valid driving licence, that the car is registered, roadworthy and insured, and that you drive it lawfully.
- You only offer trips you are making anyway.
- A women-only ride must have a woman driver. Misusing the women-only or family labels means immediate suspension.
Bookings and cancellations
- A request holds the seat until the driver accepts or declines it.
- Cancelling late or not showing up gives a strike. Three strikes in 60 days pause the account for 14 days.
Behaviour
Be respectful in the car and in the chat. Harassment, threats, discrimination or sharing someone's details outside the app can lead to suspension. You can report a chat or a person in the app, and our team reviews every report.
Safety
Verification lowers the risk but can't remove it. In an emergency, use the SOS button or call 15. SOS calls the police helpline; it does not replace it.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may pause or close accounts that break these rules.
